Empowering Afro-Girls and Boys through Cultural Advocacy and Recognition.

Afro-Mentorship Initiative (AMI) works to empower girls (#queenbmentorship) and boys (#kingsclubmentorship) by equipping them with the tools, resources, and strategies to achieve their academic and life goals.

Our Initiative

Our mission is to support Afro-(African and Caribbean) children and youth as they continue to grow and become all that is meant for them. In turn, our mentees develop into young adults who make a powerful impact within our greater communities.

Mentor-Mentee Relationship & Sessions

In a culturally responsive environment, our program provides our mentees the guidance they need. Whether learning discipline, effective communication, independence, integrity, or commitment, with the support of our mentors our mentees gain a wealth of skills and experience.

“Your brown is beautiful.” Our program provides your child the opportunity to know and understand who they are, while gaining the confidence and strength they need to lead.
