Embark on a transformative journey with our sisterhood program designed specifically for Black girls! This initiative focuses on building strong, supportive bonds that foster lasting friendships and a vibrant community.
Participants will engage in various therapeutic approaches, including narrative therapy to share and reshape their personal stories, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to identify and challenge negative thoughts. We’ll explore art therapy as a creative outlet for self-expression and healing, and utilize solutions-focused therapy to set achievable goals and cultivate resilience. Additionally, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) will help develop emotional regulation and interpersonal skills.
In a safe and nurturing environment, girls will share their unique experiences, challenges, and triumphs. This program not only promotes empowerment through unity but also significantly enhances mental health, providing participants with the tools to thrive both individually and as a cohesive group. Together, we’ll navigate the complexities of growing up in a diverse world, lifting each other up while promoting emotional well-being every step of the way!
